The Society’s national headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. SWE is a charter member of the American Association of Engineering Societies (AAES), and an affiliate of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). The Society has ten regions which include the 50 states, Puerto Rico, Saipan and Guam. Within the 10 regions there are 90 professional sections, 300 student sections and Members-At-Large.
